This scene just gets me every time. The second to last gif. Pitch’s viciousness, so much intent in that swing. It’s truly terrifying.

I’m creeped out and yet fascinated to imagine what would have happened if Bunny hadn’t blocked Pitch there! Just look at Jack’s expression in the last gif. He’s probably imagining it too, thinking he may have suffered the same fate as Sandy or worse…oh great, now I have another scene to obsess over! ha ha!

Yes, ugh this scene.  The sheer anger he has for Jack still is really eye-opening.  I mean he is still absolutely furious that Jack spurned him in Antarctica.  The fact that he is back and has a chance to not be alone, to have a family in the Guardians (unlike Pitch who has lost his chance, and now, in his mind, his chance is back to mock him and his failure) enrages him like nothing else.  His vengeance comes first here.  There are no nightmares or shadows creeping in someone’s room.  He is absolutely 100% focused on ridding himself of the one person who he ever let his guard down to, and who rejected him.

what does it say about me that THIS scene for tHESE reasons are what hits me in the blackice feels harder than anything else?
